Description

The tour includes a visit to the Civic Archaeological Museum and to the excavations of the ancient town of Misa (now called Marzabotto). The exhibition at the Civic Archaeological Museum gives a clear picture of the past of the town with its important objects and rare pieces of the Villanova and Etruscan Civilizations. A walk through the ruins of the ancient Estruscan town of Misa is a unique experience: it is the only Etruscan town in Italy whose urban plane is complete. Nearby the Archaeolgical Museum displays interesting objects found during the excavation works.
